SPOKANE COUNTY, Wash. -- Spokane County deputies made two more arrests in connection to a stolen gun ring out of Medical Lake.
On September 17, a homeowner in Medical Lake reported having 21 firearms stolen from his home. Shortly after, investigators received an anonymous tip that a juvenile girl was trying to sell guns to kids in Medical Lake.
The 17-year-old girl, and two other men face charges in connection to the stolen gun ring. One of those suspects, 21-year-old Bradley Kelly, was arrested again on more charges.
During the first week of November, a Spokane man told deputies he bought two of the firearms that were taken during the September 17 burglary.
Authorities said the man took the guns to Lewiston when he found out they were stolen because he was scared and did not know what to do.
The man told investigators a short time after he bought the firearms, Kelly and 24-year-old Scott Damon came to his house, assaulted him, and demanded the two weapons back. Both weapons have since been recovered by investigators.
On November 17, deputies said they arrested Damon and found a sawed off shotgun in his vehicle. Damon also faces drug charges.
On November 21, Kelly was arrested at a court appearance involving a previous weapons violation.
Both Damon and Kelly were booked into Spokane County Jail.
Last month, Kelly’s family told KREM2 News he has a drug addiction that has spiraled out of control since his father died last year.
