Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson will get the start Friday in a pre-season game against the Kansas City Chiefs, Seahawks officials confirmed Tuesday.
Coach Pete Carroll made the official announcement on Tuesday. He didn't say how much Wilson will play, only that he will start.
Wilson has been impressive so far this pre-season, but his achievements have been against second and third stringers.
A decision on who will start the regular season under center has not been made yet. Carroll said it's possible he won't announce the regular season start until after the final pre-season game.
