PORTLAND – Portland police said nearly a half-million dollars of heroin was found in an ice cream box in a Southeast Portland home.
Drug detectives investigating a case knocked on the door of 9230 SE Division Street and asked to search the home. In the freezer, police said they found nearly 5 lbs. of packaged heroin and 1.1 lbs. of smaller packs of the drug.
Police arrested 28-year-old Uriel Hermosillo-Castillon for manufacturing, delivery and possession of heroin.
The estimated street value of the seized heroin was between $390,000 and $446,000, police said.
