SPOKANE, Wash. - Police were investigating what happened to a woman who was dropped off at a local hospital with multiple gunshot wounds Friday night.
Police were called to Sacred Heart Medical Center after the victim, in her twenties, arrived at the hospital with gunshot wounds to her chest. Investigators said the victim cooperated with police.
Investigators believe the shooting may have occurred in the parking lot of the Wendy’s restaurant at the intersection of Division and N. River. The location was cordoned off and processed for evidence. The female shooting victim was being treated for her injuries and was expected to survive.
There was no word on any suspects or a possible motive.
Police said there was no indication the shooting was connected with another shooting in Spokane Friday night that left a man dead in an apartment on N. Astor Street.
