SPOKANE, Wash—The Greater Northwest Chapter of the National MS Society hosted their annual walk for multiple sclerosis Sunday at Spokane Falls Community College.
Hundreds of participants chose to walk either a 2-mile route or a 5.5-mile route. Organizers said Walk MS was a way to connect people living with MS with those who care about them.
The goal for the event was to raise $140,000 for the organization. The National MS Society planned to use those funds to serve 15,000 people living with Multiple Sclerosis in the Greater Northwest Chapter community.
