WSU club rows for teammate with cancer

PULLMAN, WA. -- The Washington State University Rowing Club is rallying and rowing to support a teammate diagnosed with cancer.
 The team's annual fundraiser usually gives money to worthy charities, but this year all that money is going to help a teammate fighting testicular cancer.
 The team is stationed on the Glenn Terrell Mall, rowing using rowing machines, to help teammate Jaimeson Jones, 19. All the money they raise will go to Jones and his treatment.
 Jones joined the team last year, though he had never rowed before. In May, he was diagnosed with testicular cancer. Now, he's in isolation at Seattle Children's Hospital undergoing treatment. His first battle with cancer was when Jones was 14.
 In past fundraisers, the team had never raised more than $1,000. But they raised $900 on Monday alone.
