POST FALLS, ID. -- Forget liposuction, there's a new clinically-proven, noninvasive, fat-removing procedure.
Every woman has that place on her body she wishes weren't there.
But most aren't willing to go under the knife, or shell out the bucks to fix it.
Although there might not be any easy answers, cold laser therapy might be the closest to it.
Tina Thompson is like a lot of women. She works out, she eats right, but there are still those spots she'd rather not see.
"You know, you have a little pooch, a little extra grab that won't go away," says Thompson.
Thompson and dozens of other women go to Mountain View Chiropractic in Post Falls, Idaho, for "Zerona" or cold laser therapy. Lasers stimulate a biological reaction causing the fat cells to liquify and your body metabolizes the fat away instantly.
Doctors say there's no sensation, no heat, no pain, and no down time. But it doesn't permanently eliminate fat cells.
Doctors say it's more of a jumping-off point for people who want motivation to lose even more weight through exercise and diet.
