GRANT COUNTY, Wash. -- A Big Bend Community College student has been diagnosed with viral meningitis.
Officials say because this is a viral infection, rather than bacterial, the case poses little risk to others.
The student has been hospitalized and is not attending classes. The student did not live I the residential halls.
BBCC and the Grant County Health District want to remind everyone at the school to continue with normal sanitary procedures.
