SPOKANE, Wash --- Gleason Fest 2017 announces Grouplove as the headliner this year and tickets are on sale now.
The festival starts August 12 this year and is in its sixth year. It is held at the Lilac Bowl Amphitheatre in Riverfront Park. Tickets are 30 dollars each for all ages.
KREM 2's Jane McCarthy will be the master of ceremonies for the fest this year.
Gleason Fest is an annual music festival inspired by Spokane native, Steve Gleason, who was diagnosed with ALS in 2011. All proceeds benefit the Gleason Initiative Foundation and its mission of providing life-improving technology and services to those afflicted with ALS and create global awareness for the disease.
