SPOKANE, Wash.--A North Spokane school celebrated a fun 30-year St. Patrick’s Day tradition on Monday.
Saint Thomas More School calls it ‘Crazy Hat Day.’
Nearly everyone in the school participated. The kids spent hours at home working on their own crazy hats. Some of the kids join together to create hats that are meant to be worn by multiple children at once.
The eighth graders judge the hats on six different categories. Those categories include most original, best design and most magical.
The winners each receive king-sized candy bars.
