SPOKANE, Wash. -- Hundreds of people came down to Riverfront Park Saturday morning for the annual Memory Walk.

The event is a fundraiser in the battle against Alzheimer's disease, which is the third leading cause of death in Washington and Idaho.

The Memory Walk shattered organizers' expectations.  More than 800 walkers showed up to support the cause and helped raise more than $80,000.
