Teen talking on cell phone dies in crash

NORTH SPOKANE COUNTY -- A 16-year-old girl from Nine Mile is dead after losing control of her car in north Spokane County last night.
Investigators say she was on her cell phone when she hit an icy spot, rolled her Jeep, and hit a tree around the 45-hundred block of West Monroe Road.
The Spokane county's Sheriff's Office says the girl had only had her license for about three weeks.
