SPOKANE -- We are receiving more “thank you’s” in response to our Treats 2 Troops campaign.

This was made possible thanks to your generous support, so we wanted to make sure you had a chance to see the letters also.

I'm SrA Rodriguez serving with the United States Air Force and I'm currently deployed overseas. I recently received an unexpected care package from KREM 2, its viewers, and partners. I just want to take some time to thank everyone who took time out of their busy holiday schedule to help put this package together. It means a lot to hear all the way from Spokane. I can't explain how much it means to receive such a kind gesture from everyone back in Spokane, especially around this time of year when myself, and other service members, are so far away from family and friends. Thank you so much for the care package and I hope everyone has a happy holiday.

Happy Holidays,
SrA Christopher Rodriguez

Greetings KREM staff,

My name is Jim and I am fortunate enough to work with some of the military folks that your station sent the Christmas packages to. I can tell you that these people are working long hours seven days a week and are doing it for love of country. It is so wonderful to see them receive things like the Christmas packages to brighten up their day. I know that I can speak for them when I say " thank you for spending the time and effort to remember is during the Christmas season. "

After doing 21 years in the Navy before coming out here to work as a contractor, I am happy to report. That the country is in good hands with this group of military personnel. I am quite proud to be working alongside such a professional and hardworking group of people. Thank you for your support!

To whom it may concern;

I was at a First Sergeant's gathering yesterday and heard that you sent tons
of boxes to troops overseas.  I am the First Sergeant(senior enlisted troop)
of Special Operations Command, and wanted to let you know that you guys
rock!  The base is going to spread some of the love that you sent here, and
palletize some of the remainder of the boxes to push forward to remote
locations to ensure that troops on the end of the spear are afforded a
change to share some of the goodies.

If you have ever not taken a shower for 38 days, and can't smell
yourself..........getting a box of goodies brings a smile on your face as
wide as when your child is born.  Tears of joy.  I thank you from the bottom
of my heart for your kindness.

If I make it to Washington State, be prepared to receive a visit.  Hooah!
