MOSES LAKE, Wash -- Authorities in Grant County helped bust an intrastate heroin trafficking ring.
The INET agency teamed up with police investigators from Western Washington. INET is comprised of detectives from Grant County, WSP, Quincy Police and Moses Lake Police.
The investigation spanned several months an uncovered a heroin narcotics trafficking ring which was moving drugs between Moses Lake and the Seattle area. Detectives determined the heroin was coming from the west side so they conducted some undercover drug buys around Seattle.
Five people were arrested and investigators seized 4 ounces of heroin, a handgun and $7,000.
The investigation is ongoing.
