COEUR D’ALENE, Idaho -- Coeur d’Alene Police released new information in the case of an endangered runaway.

Officers said 14-year-old Jaidyn Bendocchi went to Bakersfield, Calif. To meet a 15-year-old boy she met online.

Authorities previously stated Bendocchi went to California to meet a man in his 20’s.

FBI agents said the boy’s mother went to Coeur d’Alene to pick Jaidyn up, and that she drove her to California.

Authorities are investigation whether to charge the boy’s mother.

Jaidyn is in the custody of Child Protective Services in California.

School Resource Officers are working with CPS to coordinated returning Jaidyn to her parents.
