SPOKANE, Wash. - Beware a paper carrier in North Spokane with a rocket arm.

The manager of Baskin-Robbins along Country Homes Blvd. in North Spokane said a paper carrier may have thrown the Monday edition of the Spokesman-Review so hard that it shattered the glass door of his business.

Police showed up around 4:30 Monday morning to check out a report of a burglary from a smashed window.

But when they got there with the business manager they found nothing stolen and the newspaper about six inches inside the broken glass door.

The manager said he's not absolutely sure the paper did the damage, but said it's an old door and it could have happened.

The manager will call the Spokesman-Review later today to see if perhaps the glass door was shattered prior to the paper carrier throwing the paper or to see if the paper carrier saw anything unusual.
