SPOKANE -- A man driving a presumably stolen car crashed his way into a Northwest Spokane convenience store for cigarettes.  The store's surveillance camera caught the smash and grab.

It happened at the Northwest Food Mart on Driscoll Boulevard around 4:30 a.m. Monday.  The driver intentionally backs up through the glass doors, breaking them.  The suspect then squeezes through the broken doors, hops over the counter and straight to the cigarettes.  He does not waste any time and leaves back through the door just as quickly as he came in.

The store manager said she has not seen anything like it in her three years at the Food Mart.  The temporary door repair alone cost $800.  Employees expect the permanent replacement to cost $1,000.

The store notified police who are now needing the public's help in identifying the suspect.
