Woman shoplifts more than $2,000 worth of items from Hayden Walmart

HAYDEN, Idaho --- A woman was arrested on Sunday, after she tried to shoplift more than $2,000 worth of merchandise from the Hayden Walmart.

The store security at Walmart alerted deputies of a shoplifting suspect.

When deputies arrived, they found a woman in the parking lot that had walked out of the store with two cartloads of merchandise that she did not pay for.

At first, the woman lied about her name. She was later identified as Coeur d’Alene local, Jennifer L. Dossett, 43.

The two carts that Dossett walked out of the store with, had 360 various items from the store.

The items in the two carts were valued at an estimate of $2,300.

Dossett was arrested on charges of burglary, grand theft and giving false identification to an officer.

She also had an outstanding theft warrant for when she robbed the same Walmart back in September.

Dossett was booked into the Kootenai County jail six previous times for driving and drug related charges.
