Man 'propelled a bodily fluid at an officer' while resisting arrest

KOOSKIA, Idaho --- Man arrested for DUI, battery of an officer, possession of marijuana and failure to provide proof of insurance after being pulled over in Idaho.

On August 25, Idaho County Deputy Sam AuGello observed a vehicle driving recklessly on Highway 12. AuGello stopped the pickup truck and made contact with 52-year-old Robert Warden who was driving.

Warden was reportedly argumentative and continuously moving around the vehicle. Warden was disregarding AuGello’s commands so Nez Perce Tribal Police and more Idaho County Deputies were requested, according to the Idaho County Sheriff’s Office.

Warden continued to resist and was combative with the deputies throughout the contact, including propelling a bodily fluid at a deputy, said the ICSO.

Warden was arrested for DUI, battery of an officer, misdemeanor driving without privileges, open container of alcohol and fail to provide proof of insurance.

Tribal Police took possession of marijuana found in the vehicle and will be responsible for charging Warden with its possession.
