SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. -- A woman told Sheriff’s deputies she was robbed outside the Holiday Inn Express on E. Mission Ave. Tuesday night.

According to investigators, the 25-year-old victim said she was at the east entrance of the hotel around 9:30 p.m. and had placed her cigarettes and car keys on the hood of her vehicle while she looked for her hotel key.  The woman said she then saw a man walking towards her in the parking lot and as he walked past her, he grabbed her belongings off the vehicle, including approx. $300. 

The victim also told investigators the suspect shoved her onto the ground and kicked her in the thigh before running off on foot toward Mullan Road.

The suspect was described as a white male, approximately 5’10”, 180 lbs and wearing baggy clothes.
