SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash.--A witness helped Spokane Valley Sheriff’s Office deputies find two suspects from burglary call at a business near E. Sprague and S. Dearborn on Sunday.

A witness said he saw two males exit a vehicle near First and Custer carrying a duffel bag. He said he saw the two men, identified as 33-year-old Julian Torres and 50-year-old Bernave Vazquez, running from the business and thought they may have committed a burglary.

The witness said he watched as Torres and Bernave drove across the street to the WalMart parking lot.

A deputy went to the business and the owner confirmed it had been burglarized.  Other deputies located Torres and Bernave inside their vehicle at WalMart and detained them.  They located a crowbar that was more than likely used to break into the business inside the vehicle, according to police.

One deputy and the witness drove to Walmart where they witness positively identified Torres and Bernave as the two he saw running from the business.

Torres and Bernave were both booked into jail for Burglary and Possession of Burglary Tools.
