KETTLE FALLS, Wash. -- The Washington State Patrol is investigating an officer involved shooting at the Kettle River Campground in Ferry County.
Authorities said the shooting happened when two National Park Service Rangers went to investigate a noise complaint around 10:30 p.m. Saturday. The suspect that was shot was transported by Medstar to Sacred Heart Medical Center. Officials said the suspect is in satisfactory condition.
Authorities said another suspect was taken into custody and booked into the Spokane County Jail. No further details of the shooting have been released.
The Kettle River Campground is closed and will remain closed until detectives finish gathering evidence at the scene.
