HAYDEN, Idaho -- Detectives have identified the deceased man and woman involved in a murder-suicide inside a Hayden, Idaho home. Autopsies will be conducted on Daryl R. Clark, 43, and his wife, Tina Clark, 48, on Friday.
Police responded to a report of a shooting in the 900 block of West Sheridan Road at 11 a.m. Thursday.
A man called 911 to report he just shot his wife and planned to shoot himself. As deputies arrived on scene, they heard a gunshot from inside the home.
Police entered to find a woman in her 40s dead from an apparent gunshot wound. A man’s body was then found in a back room of the house. The Kootenai Co. Sheriff’s Office says he appears to have been killed by a self-inflicted gunshot.
The sheriff’s office has not released their identities.
No one else was home at the time of the shooting.
Detectives are investigating.
