SPOKANE, Wash.--Accused killer Carlos Fuentes was back in court on Tuesday. Fuentes, 25, was arrested in September of 2013 and charged with First Degree Murder for the shooting death of Julian Morrison on September 8 at the Hop on Monroe Street.
A gang officer took the stand on Tuesday. Information that the girlfriend of Morrison said Fuentes was not involved in the shooting was coming to light.

The purpose of Tuesday’s hearing was to determine what would be admitted into Fuentes’ upcoming murder trial.
Another man, 23-year-old Kalen Bedford, was also a person of interest in the case. Murder charges were dropped against Bedford in November. Sources said witnesses refusing to cooperate with investigators led, in large part, to charges against Bedford being dropped.
