SPOKANE, Wash. -- A police chase early Wednesday ended with the arrest of a teenager in Spokane.

The Spokane County Sheriff’s Office said it started when deputies tried to pull over a Ford Explorer near Mission and Argonne for reckless driving.  Deputies said the driver nearly hit two other cars, one of which happened to be an off-duty officer.

The chase went on for more than six miles before deputies found the car abandoned in Sullivan Industrial Park.  With the help of a K9 dog, deputies found the driver hiding in bushes.

They arrested him and he likely faces several felony charges.  Two other teenagers were also arrested and released to their parents.
