COEUR D'ALENE, Idaho -- Coeur D'Alene Police arrested a 45-year-old woman Thursday for allegedly driving a 14-year-old endangered runaway to California.

Police say Lillie Alvarado, 45, of Bakersfield, California, is charged with 2nd degree kidnapping.

Authorities say Alvarado traveled by train on March 1 to Spokane. When she arrived, she rented a car and drove to Coeur d'Alene where she parked and waited at the end of the block for the girl to get into her car around 9:45 p.m.

Officials say Alvarado drove back to Spokane where she and the girl got on a train back to Bakersfield, California.

The girl was found at Alvarado's residence in Bakersfield on March 5. She is currently in the custody of Child Protective Services of California and arrangements have been made for her to return home to Coeur d'Alene.
