SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. -- Spokane Valley Police arrested a suspect following a brief pursuit on Monday.
Authorities said a deputy ran the registration on a Honda Accord Monday night on Interstate 90 and it came back as stolen.
The deputy tried to stop the vehicle near Boone and Argonne and the driver failed to stop. The deputy had to use the PIT maneuver to stop the vehicle.
The driver, William Hubbard, 18, refused to get out of the car. Two deputies had to escort him out of the car after breaking the driver's side window.
Hubbard was charged with attempting to elude and possession of a stolen motor vehicle. He was also charged with resisting arrest and driving while license suspended.
