SPOKANE-- Spokane officers say they were forced to taser a man who threatened them with a large wooden pole and a rock.
They were called to a home in the 2700 block of E. 18th last Tuesday for a domestic violence issue.
Police say Peter Price began threatening them with the pole and a chunk of concrete on the end as they arrived. He then picked up a large rock and a sharp stick and allegedly threw it at them.
Officers fired and impact round from a 40mm launcher, striking Price in the upper thigh. It was not enough to stop Price, who police say continued to fight with them.
Police tased the suspect and eventually were able to book him into jail.
None of the officers involved were injured.
