SPOKANE, Wash. -- Spokane police have found and interviewed a woman wanted for questioning in the stabbing of her boyfriend.
Detectives began looking for April Fletcher Wednesday morning, after her boyfriend was stabbed at a home near Assembly and Wellesley.
The victim suffered two stab wounds in the stomach and one in the right thigh. Police found him bleeding in the house.
According to police, Fletcher said the man assaulted her in the past, and she “had to do it,” in reference to the stabbing.
The man survived and is expected to recover fully from his injuries.
Police have not made an arrest in the case.
