SPOKANE, Wash.--Prosecutors are once again going after a man accused of stabbing his pregnant girlfriend 50 times in 2009.

Robbie Bishop was initially found mentally incompetent to stand trial. When Bishop was confined to Eastern State Hospital he began threatening to kill the hospitals CEO according to detectives.

Through the investigation of the threat at the hospital prosecutors said their experts now find Bishop fit for trial in the homicide in 2009.

Bishop’s defense team said he is still mentally incompetent to stand trial in that case.

Bishop has a $1 million bond.
