SPOKANE--A Spokane man was stabbed to death late Saturday night in Northeast Spokane.
Officers responded to the report of a stabbing near the intersection of Nelson and Wabash shortly before midnight. When they arrived they found a man with multiple stab wounds.
The man was later pronounced dead at a local hospital.
Witnesses helped officers develop a description of the suspect and he was located a short distance away from where the victim was found.
The suspect is in police custody and the investigation is ongoing.
