SPOKANE-- On Thursday April 26th, the Spokane County Sheriff’s Office SWAT team served search warrants at 3 separate locations in north Spokane County as a result of a Sheriff’s Office Investigative Task Force (ITF) investigation.

The raid locations were on the 7700 block of North Altamont, the 1900 block of East Glass and the 12600 block of North Freya.
 
Task Force investigators received pictures from the victim of a burglary reported on April 11th in the 22500 block of East Henry Road.  The victim had placed a game camera several weeks earlier along his driveway and it captured images of a possible suspect vehicle.
 
Wednesday, investigators compiled enough information to arrest Dean M. Blackford, the registered owner of the vehicle captured in the photos from Henry Rd.  They also obtained several search warrants and served 3 of them Thursday.
 
The following suspects were arrested during the service of the warrants:
 
Steven R. Vandinter, (09/27/70)         Warrant & Possession of a Controlled Substance-Methamphetamine
Lindsey M. Pearson, (08/08/89)          Possession of a Controlled Substance-Methamphetamine
Kevin M Heaton (2/10/77)                Possession of a Controlled Substance-Methamphetamine
                                        Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver
Randy E. Hewson (12/22/86)               Possession of a Controlled Substance-Methamphetamine
Danica M. Wood (3/5/84)          Possession of a Controlled Substance-Methamphetamine
Jesse T. J. Gust (11/28/85)             1st Degree Arson warrant
Michael Thorne (10/5/75)                 6 Felony Warrants
 
Investigators also recovered a large amount of stolen property.  Some of the property recovered includes:  Stolen Motorcycle, Stolen Vehicle, Stolen 4-Wheeler, Stolen Mini-Bike, Stolen 40 cal Beretta Pistol, Oxy- Acetylene Tanks (Oxarc), 5-6 Hundred Pieces of Jewelry, 4' x 4.5' Stolen Neon Sign (confirmed burglary), 3 Laptop Computers (numbers removed), Power Washer, a Welder, Power Tools, Stolen Appliances (refrigerator & microwave), more computers and bikes.
 
They also sized over 3.5 ounces of Methamphetamine and some Marijuana.  This investigation is continuing and more charges are pending.  Additional charges may include burglary or possession/trafficking stolen property.
