SPOKANE, Wash. -- A judge set bail at $200,000 for a shooting suspect who was arrested on Monday near Stone and South Crescent.

William Anderson faced a judge on Tuesday. Spokane Police searched a house Monday afternoon in connection with a Friday night shooting at 1607 E Pacific. Police took one person into custody.

Police arrested William Anderson for assault in contection to the shooting Friday night. Over the weekend police developed leads that Anderson was a suspect. Anderson was arrested with out incident. However, the search warrant was considered high risk due to the amount of people in the house.

A man was shot in the chest at the Pacific address according to officers. Officials said a group of men fired shots through the rear door of a house. Jeremy Lambert, 35, was shot in the chest according to police. Lambert was taken to an area hospital for treatment.

Major Crimes Detectives are investigating to see if this shooting is related to an incident that happened earlier in the day. Earlier Friday, officers responded to dead person found in front of the same house. The death is not considered suspicious.
