SPOKANE, Wash. -- Spokane Police investigated a burglary early Thursday at a gas station.

It happened around 12:30 a.m. at the Qwik Stop near market and Wellesley.

Officers said a man walked into the convenience store, pointed a gun at the clerk, and demanded money.  A K9 unit was called in to track the suspect away from the scene but no one was located.

Witnesses said the suspect was about 6’ tall, 225 pounds, and had medium skin tone.  He was also wearing a black hooded sweatshirt.

Officers planned to review surveillance video to get a better look at what happened.
