SPOKANE, Wash.-- The Regional Response Team completed its investigation into a fatal officer involved shooting of a murder suspect by Spokane Police.
Officers said murder suspect Jeremy Arnold drove through police barricades at the scene of a homicide in April. Officers immediately recognized the driver and fired their weapons after he exited the vehicle. Arnold was holding what appeared to be a handgun, according to police. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Spokane Investigative Regional Response Team launched a probe into the shooting. The team, led by the Spokane County Sheriff’s Office, consisted of multiple agencies from across the region.
The S.I.R.R Team has passed the case onto the Spokane County Prosecutor’s Office for review.
