'Baby face' robber orders drink, demands cash from Spokane coffee shop

SPOKANE, Wash. -- A suspect demanded cash with his coffee order early Monday in Spokane.

It happened around 6:30 a.m. at Mug Shots espresso near Garland and Oak.

The suspect ordered a coffee then demanded money from the barista, according to police.  The suspect indicated he had a weapon but the barista didn’t see one.

The suspect left on foot with his coffee and an undisclosed amount of cash.

Spokane Police described the suspect as a white male, 26-30 years old, and light brown/blonde hair.  Authorities said the suspect also had a baby face (pudgy but not fat), and was wearing a black and white hooded sweatshirt with dark gray pants.
