SPOKANE COUNTY, Wash.—Crime Stoppers will offer a reward to the person who can help solve a Tuesday night stabbing along W. Bernhill Road.

The victim, 17, was stabbed around 11:30 p.m. during a run. The man claimed that a male suspect grabbed him around the neck and demanded his wallet. Authorities said the victim did not have his wallet with him at the time. The suspect stabbed the runner in his right shoulder and ran away.
 
The victim was later taken to Holy Family Hospital. Authorities said the teenager was in stable condition.

The teenager victim described the suspect as 5’11”, wearing a dark hood and had breath that smelled like “garbage.”

Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for anyone providing information leading to an arrest in this incident.  Persons with information should call the Crime Stoppers Tip Line at 1-800-222-TIPS, or should forward the tip via the Internet website.  Tipsters do not have to give their name to collect the cash reward.
