SPOKANE, Wash. -- A report of a suspicious vehicle in Spokane Valley on Wednesday evening lead to the arrest of a man wanted for a felony.

Authorities received a report of a suspicious car Wednesday just after 11:30 p.m. in the 12600 block of East Broadway. It was reported that a male who appeared to be high continued to get in and out of a van parked at that location.

A Spokane Valley Sheriff's deputy responded to the area and contacted the suspect, identified as Brent A. Graham, 22. While the deputy was talking to Graham, he learned he had an active felony warrant for second degree theft.

Graham was arrested and taken to the Spokane County Jail for the warrant. When Graham arrived at the jail, a Spokane County Corrections Officer found a baggie containing a white crystalline substance hidden inside Graham's shoe.

Officials said Graham admitted the baggie contained methamphetamine. Graham was also charged with possession of a controlled substance.
