QUINCY, Wash.-- The Grant County Sheriff’s Office took a man into custody for allegedly dealing drugs near a Quincy school.

The Grant County Interagency Narcotics Enforcement Team and Quincy police arrested Marcus Garcia, 21, Friday.
Garcia was reportedly caught dealing cocaine in a school zone, driving under the influence, and driving on a suspended license.
INET detectives went undercover to catch the suspect after learning about drug deals near the school. They caught Garcia after buying 2.7 grams of cocaine from him in the parking lot of a McDonald’s, which sits within 1,000 ft. of Hi Tech High. Police then arrested Garcia.
Dealing drugs in a school zone can add extra penalties to a drug crime alone.
