SPOKANE, Wash. -- The person of interest police locate in connection to a deadly shooting on Friday in North Spokane has also been a victim of a violent crime.
Court documents show Tara Rader, 22, drove the get away car for accused killer Joshua Tillery after police say he shot Devon Mack, 33 in the head near Lincoln and Princeton on Friday night. Rader was questioned and released.
Major crimes detectives said she could still face charges for driving the car.
Rader has had problems with police for several years. Her most recent conviction was for money laundering. She’s also been accused of trafficking stolen goods.
Back in 2004, Rader was shot in the head by her boyfriend when she was just 13-years-old.
Reza Abghari was sentenced to 2 and half years in prison for shooting Rader back in 2005.
KREM 2 was told after the incident happened that Rader is blind in one eye, deaf in one ear, and unable to smell or taste.
Court documents indicated Rader was a runaway. Detectives believe she stole drugs from her dad and sold them to support her life on the streets.
