COEUR D'ALENE, Idaho (AP) -- A northern Idaho woman who pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit bank fraud and one count of identity theft has been sentenced to serve four years in federal prison and pay back $37,790.

Other media outlets report that U.S. Attorney Wendy Olson last week announced that 27-year-old Michelle Ann Mason will also be subject to five years of supervised release after she leaves prison.

   Mason pleaded guilty in March.

Prosecutors say Mason of Oldtown was the ringleader of a group that stole mail in and around the small community. Prosecutors say she directed her co-conspirators to open bank accounts as part of her scheme.
