SPOKANE, Wash. -- A man wanted for the murder of a Spokane woman was arrested outside of a California grocery store.
Tony T. Callihan went missing last Friday, the same day Michelle Koenen’s body was discovered in her home.
Police were called to the store in Clearlake, California, about 100 miles northwest of Sacramento early Friday morning. They found Callihan and another man asleep in the Koenen’s stolen Dodge Stratus.
Officers arrested Callihan without incident.
The vehicle was seized to be processed as evidence.
Callihan was booked into Lake Co. Jail and will be transported to Spokane to face second-degree murder charges.
