SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. -- More than 15 vehicles were vandalized this week in the Otis Orchards area.

The Spokane County Sheriff’s Office is searching for the person or people who are responsible for smashing the vehicles’ windows Tuesday night and Wednesday morning.

Cars on Wellesley Road between Campbell Road and the Idaho state line were damaged, including Dan Hendrix’s.

“It’s very sad. It cost a lot of people a lot of money,” Hendrix, who lost $245 alone, said.
Nothing was taken from his car, which makes him think someone did this just to cause trouble.

“This is a pretty quiet neighborhood. That’s why we live out here.”

Deputies do not have any suspect information. Anyone with details on this investigation should call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS. Tipsters with information leading to a conviction could collect a cash reward.
