SPOKANE, Wash. -- Bail was set at $75,000 on Monday for a Spokane car jacking suspect who allegedly held a gun to the victim’s head.
Officers received a car jacking call just in the 4100 block of North Division just before 8:30 p.m. Friday.
The victim told police a man put a gun to her head while she was walking to her car. Then he allegedly stole the vehicle.
Police spotted the car leaving Northtown Mall about twenty minutes later. Police say he tried to drive away, but they were able to put up a barricade to stop him.
Michael Lezard, 25, was taken into custody. He was charged with first-degree robbery and possession of a stolen firearm. His bail was set at $75,000 Monday.
