SPOKANE-- A Spokane officer and his K9 stopped a man allegedly sneaking around a Girl Scouts event Saturday night.

Police received a report of a prowler in the yard at the Girl Scouts of America office in the 1400 block of N. Ash around 11:20 p.m. The Girl Scouts held an overnight event.

Officials say 29-year-old Martin Green was barefoot in the snow on the back porch of the Girl Scouts Building.  Police say Green ran when they tried to contact him when he was staring into a window.

An officer and a K9 were able to find Green hiding under a car.   Police say Green’s sweatpants were untied and he was wearing red G-string underwear.  He also had several condoms inside his pants pocket.

Police booked Green into jail for 2nd Degree Burglary and Voyeurism. If convicted for the latter charge, Green will be required to register as a sex offender.
