KOOTENAI COUNTY-- A suspect wanted connected to a large North Idaho burglary ring turned himself in to police this week.
Officials told KREM 2 News Samuel Fetterhoff turned himself in.
On October 11th investigators said a neighbor in the area of 16th and Jag Street spotted two men kicking in a door. As witnesses described the suspects' car to police, the suspected vehicle drove by.
Police stopped the vehicle, the passenger identified as Samuel Fetterhoff exited and ran. The driver, James Edward Porter III, was arrested. Porter was not cooperating with police.
Police were looking for Fetterhoff.
Post Falls Police Captain Pat Knight said the suspects are responsible for multiple break ins. Detectives found stolen property inside the suspects' vehicle.
Police believe the suspects may be connected to the string of daytime burglaries over the past month.
There were at least 70 burglaries in Kootenai County in September, and eight incidents in Post Falls over the past three days.
