POST FALLS, Idaho-- Investigators in Post Falls, Idaho arrested two thieves accused of stealing from several Wal-Marts. Detectives said they think the pair may be linked to crimes in Washington State as well.
Security camera photographs show Pauli-Ann Goyne and Shawn Pruitt with a shopping list heading into Wal-Mart in Post Falls Monday night. The couple had come from Washington. Investigators said they loaded up their carts with bicycles carriers, Blue-Ray disks, T.V. sets and car stereos.
Police were waiting for the couple outside because they said this was not the first time the two shopped there. Police also found the couple's SUV parked outside. Detectives said the couple admitted to stealing.
They are accused of stealing thousands of dollars worth of items and then selling them to someone in Washington State.
Detectives said the couple's crimes are not limited to the Post Falls Wal-Mart. Spokane Police have linked them to several burglaries. Investigators said Pruitt and Goyne skipped the check-out-lines at the Airway Heights Wal-Mart as well. They are also accused of breaking into a house.
Both suspects are in the Kootenai County jail.
