SPOKANE, Wash.--A Gonzaga law student has pleaded guilty to hit and run and vehicular assault in a case in which he crashed into a bicyclist.

Timmy Ngoc Nguyen, 23, was sentenced Monday to one year in prison by Spokane County Superior Court Judge Linda Tompkins.
 
The court clerk saif Nguyen was also ordered to pay more than $37,000 in restitution.
 
Last year, Nguyen crashed his vehicle into a bicycle and trailer ridden by Danny Packard and his young daughter. The girl suffered a fractured skull and wrist, but has since recovered.
