Flamin' Joe's franchise owner arrested during Oxycontin raid

SPOKANE, Wash. -- A woman who may be linked to a widespread oxycontin ring out of Montana is also the owner of a Spokane restaurant franchise.

Sally Guthrie runs the Flamin' Joes Restaurant in Spokane with 3 locations in the area. KREM 2 tried to contact the local corporate office to ask about Guthrie but were only able to leave a message.

Guthrie is listed as an employee for AG Enterprises in Great Falls, Montana. KREM 2 was unable to contact the business today.

Authorities executed federal search warrants on Thursday according to DEA agents. The Spokane Regional Drug Task Force executed 16 searches according to DEA agents. Authorities search buildings at 14th and Raymond, Lacey and Indiana, Buckeye and Cuba, Olympic and Cincinnati and West 1st and Washington.

The location on West 1st in Downtown Spokane that was raided is the most current address listed for Guthrie.There was no sign of police activity this afternoon and the apartments have a private entrance away from the front of the building.

The oxycontin sweep resulted in 41 people being taken into custody between the two states. Twelve of those suspects were found in Spokane according to a DEA press release.

The charges for all of the suspects range from possession of a controlled substance to conspiracy to distribute a controlled substance.

DEA investigators confirmed that Gutherie might be tied to a Spokane shooting. Authorities said they are looking into the possibility. A car linked to her was likely involved in the shooting according to agents.

Guthrie is scheduled to be back in court tomorrow at 8 a.m.
