NEZ PERCE COUNTY, Idaho.—A driver nearly hit a deputy’s patrol vehicle late Saturday night before crashing into a fire station in Lewiston according to the Nez Perce County Sheriff's Office.

Authorities said a sheriff’s deputy turned on the emergency lights and siren and attempted to stop the driver, Patricia Wilson of Lapwai, after she nearly hit the patrol car.  The deputy followed her to the intersection of 13th Street and G Street, where she crashed into a fire station according to law enforcement.

Wilson was taken to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries according to deputies.

The Nez Perce County Sheriff’s Office is investigating whether drugs or alcohol were involved.
